I’m 55, just so you know. 😉 I’m not some 20 or 30 year old who’s bouncing around trying to tell you how uh-mazing you’re going to feel.

I AM here to tell you that you can get in better shape and regain some mobility or keep it and you can age gracefully. It may be a slow process, but it CAN be done. 

YOU HAVE TO WANT IT!

I am a certified Life Coach.

I have a heart condition. I don’t like it. I don’t like wearing it as a badge, but if it helps other men and women over the age of 50 get off their asses—then I’ll wear it. Trying to workout and get fit is DAMNED HARD when you have a heart condition. Activity is supposed to strengthen your heart, but sometimes even the smallest bit just drains you. But you don’t give up! You go to rest and breath for a while and then get up off your butt and TRY IT AGAIN!

God breathed the “breath” of life into us. We breathe…a lot. We don’t often stop and focus on the breath itself. Focus on the breath—go to rest and breath….and just breathe….deeply….and slowly. 😉

I’m tired…a LOT! I also have chronic fatigue syndrome and adrenal autonomia. My tired is tired. LOL. More often than not I have to MAKE myself get up and do the workouts. I don’t get all bubbly about it and jump right in. Maybe one day, right? But I do enjoy it once I get started and I know it is so beneficial for your body, especially if you’ve reached a certain age. I fully believe you can age well with yoga.

AND I MAKE IMPROVEMENTS EVERY WEEK! MY TIRED ISN’T AS TIRED AS IT USED TO BE!

Update: During December of 2022 I had a serious auto-immune disorder that attacked my skin. It was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced and it knocked me back to almost zero, so I am starting over to regain the progress I had made. I will do it. You can do it. One day at a time. Keep putting one foot in front of the other until you get there. It’s a journey. Enjoy the journey.

P.S. I learned more about grace, so I may not be as harsh as I once was….

You May Find Me a Bit Harsh!

First off, I am not here to baby you or coddle you. If you’re looking for that kind of support, you’re in the wrong place. I will encourage you with tough love. I don’t put up with excuses, from myself or anyone else. If you want to get something accomplished—just frickin’ do it! Don’t whine and keep saying you want to do it. Don’t make excuses as to why you can’t do it.

Either do it or don’t do it, but shut the hell up about it.

 

I Care Deeply!

As an empath, a real one, not one of those people who think they are just because they can sympathize with other human beings. I AM one. I feel all the emotional baggage in the world. It sucks. I have to be tough through it or otherwise I’m just a mushy glob of goo who would sit and cry all the time. I ain’t got time for that. I have a life to live. I suck it up and get through it and I expect no less from others.

I Don’t Care!

I don’t care if you like me. I don’t care if you think I’m mean or a bitch. I’ve been called a lot worse…but I don’t have time to care about whether you like me. That’s your problem, not mine. However, I do deeply care about the human being and the health of the species. If I didn’t care I would not tell you to stop putting garbage in your damn mouth. I’d just let you do it and live a disease ridden life for your existence. But that’s not living…BEING SICK IS NOT LIVING! It’s existing and you have full control over what you put in your mouth, how much you move your body and taking charge of your own health. Do It or Don’t Do It! I care enough to tell you to get off your ass, stop making excuses and Do It!

Sometimes you gotta be cruel to be kind!

Make No Excuses! But allow yourself some GRACE, too!
