So, at 55 I’m not really ready to bounce around all that much, but you may be so I wanted to cover some fun fitness stuff you can do at home. And I’m not completely opposed to having this in my future. 😉

Maybe you’ve researched using an indoor trampoline as part of your workout. You have looked at the benefits of this workout option. You have also looked at the routines and workouts that may work best for you. What you may not know is how to make the most out of your mini trampoline. Here are some ways you can use to make the most out of your workout and the most out of your mini trampoline purchase.

Resistance Bands

The workout on your mini trampoline may be fine, but if you are trying to make the most of it, you may want to do something that would work your arms and give strong resistance at different levels. That can mean using resistance bands. These bands attach to the sides of the mini trampoline and can be used to stretch your arms, work your triceps and biceps, and give you more resistance in your up jump. This can work legs, arms, and build cardio to get the most out of your mini trampoline with the least amount of equipment.

Reduce Bounce

Yes, the mini trampoline is for jumping, but what if it can also give you more than just jumping. In fact, every now and again, you can reduce your bounce and still get your workout. Use the sides of your mini trampoline for ab dips, push-ups, and planking. This can give you an all in one platform that you would normally need other equipment to achieve. You can step this up by using the trampoline itself as an alternative to a balance ball or bosu ball. This can step up your dips and pushups and give them a stability factor as well as allowing you to get the most out of your mini trampoline.

Make it a Gym

When you look at your mini trampoline, you may not see a full gym. The truth is, if you want to get the most out of your mini trampoline, you can turn it into a full gym easily. The first step is to use the previously mentioned options to give your body resistance, and a planking and arm workout option. The next step is to add a bar to the mini trampoline. The workout bar can give you a pull up bar, Pilates option, and leg workout option for stabilization. This can give you the vast majority of the workout options you would have in a gym, in the comfort of your home on a mini trampoline.

Keep in mind, there are different mini trampolines out there and different accessories for each one. These can increase your workout results and become part of your daily routine.

All the best,
Patti
